Biomass pellets are made by drying and grinding agricultural and wood residue, then compressing it under high pressure through a die. The natural lignin in the material binds the pellet together — no glue or chemicals are added.
Their small, uniform size and low moisture give steady combustion and make them ideal for automated feeding. Pellets have higher bulk density than loose biomass, so you store and transport more energy per truckload.
